Registration Week

Yes, it is apon us, time for you to come in and see all the great samples in person and get registered for the classes you want to take. I have several that are already filling fast, so don't miss out. If you have your registration fee paid, you may take 20% off all your class suppplies- this week only. I will also be doing a demonstration of stenciling on fabric with paintstiks on Saturday, at 11 am. It will be a busy exciting week, I will probably need lots of coffee.

Tuesday is the Art Club, we will be doing shibori painting, see www.clubsupplies-VFS.blogspot.com for a full list of materials needed. This is super fun and the results are great. I used some in Batik Garden Path (workshop May 18 & 25 ),. This Wednesday, Spring Houses begins, so many of you were sad to have missed it last time that we are doing it again, this time divided up in to separate seasons. And _ _ _ I am excited to be the guest speaker on Thursday Evening at First Dutchess Quilter's Guild. I will be sharing the History of Art Quilts using a power point presentation. I will have some art quilts with me and some books and Dvd's for those of you who don't always come "up North" or "Over the River" to visit the shoppe. If you need directions and more details of the meeting, check Thier website. www.firstdutchessquilters.org. I am really looking forward to this, I don't always get to talk to so many people at once about one of my favorite subjects. The hardest part was limiting the images down to a reasonable amount. There is so much out there worth looking at. I hope my lecture will have you all inspired to try something new. Have fun and see you soon.
