Independance Day

We will be closed on the fourth, but to help you show your Independent Spirit, the special will be on The Art Quilt Workbook, Art Quilts at Play, and the Art Quilt Workbook DVD, at 25% off, on Thursday and Friday.(remember we are closed this Saturday) With lots of out of the ordinary techniques, information and inspiration, they will help you find your own unique and independent style. Even if you make traditional quilts there is always room to add your own personal touches. Quilters through history have been resourceful, creative and industrious, lets keep that going.

Thursday's Scrap Therapy Cutting workshop is full, the next one is on August 6. The Prairie Braid class is also full, if you want to take that and have not signed up yet, please call and if we have enough additional people interested we will add another session. Our Block of the Month will meet on the 11th, as our usual day is a national holiday.

Lastly I want let you know about some new things that came in. Carol Armstrongs new book, Best in Show, is great. It contains more than 20 different breeds in applique, including my favorite Pugs!! (there is room in our learn to applique workshop if you need to brush up or learn the skills!!) Also in is Thoroughly Modern Dresden, and the ruler that goes with it, and a bunch more copies of the William Morris in Applique book, plus a few more goodies. Have a great holiday.
