In honor of the Quadrecentennial Celebrations this week's special is on the "Explorations" line of fabrics from Windham, and A New Light on Storm at Sea Quilts by Wendy Mathson. The motif of the fabrics is ships from the Age of Exploration, including a pillow panel, and with a great retail price to begin with, then the 20% off of the special, you really shouldn't miss it. The book gives you a classic maritime block with sewing directions for several methods, and tons of design possibilities -- There are even coloring pages you can copy and color.
