Customer Example Program

I hope you all enjoyed the sunny holiday weekend. It felt really good to let the grass dry out and fire up the BBQ. Tuesday is our handstitchers club, Thursday is What's Up Dot, A scrap Therapy place mat project, and Saturday is the Block of the Month. Next week, is Art Quilt group, I will email the supply list to regular members, if you want to join us for handmade cording let us know. Also next week is the next egg money quilts block, and the learn to applique workshop. On that subject, this weekend the special is on all applique books, any book with the word applique in the title is 15% off. There are lots of great books that fit this description in our inventory, from fun and funky, to pictures of dogs to super classy and elegant. There is something for everyone.

I also want to introduce a new program here at VFS, The Class Example program. This is designed to encourage you to fully finish your class projects, and help others to see a wider variety of samples than we here at the shoppe can produce. Here's how it works.
1.You take a workshop with us. Then finish the project, yes quilted and bound, and importantly, with a label.
2. You bring it in and let us put it up with a sign that says who you are, which class you took and when. You can also give any other comments you wish. If you desire we can announce your newly finished project here in the blog.
3.We will keep it on display for about a month, and on the day you come in to pick it up you may take 20% off your entire purchase. As usual, this offer excludes class fees and club dues.
