Peking Kids Fabrics are here

The new fabric line from Blank called Peking Kids is here. They sent a project sheet and I couldn't resist, The top is done and it is a great pattern. They did leave one step out of the sheet so when I get the stickers on them all with the correction, it will be the April Free project sheet. There is some metallic on it so it isn't the clearest image, but if you click on the image a larger one should open so you can see the charming little Chinese Kids flying thier kites. With the Chinese Olympics coming, these fabrics are going to go fast.

I have some class reminders, We are still taking registrations for Hand Quilting, Blended Medallion, Peach Basket, and we need only one more registration for the absolute beginners workshop for Heart and Nine Patch. Get yourself going for spring with a new project!! Call or come by to sign up.

If you saw Ricky Timms on CBS Sunday Morning on the 16th, you are familiar with "Caveman" style quilting. (if you didn't see it, Stop by, I have a clip on video) The Art Quilt Forum, Blockbusters will be working with curves in this style at the next meeting. The Handstitchers club will be doing needle woven leaves and oranges and pomegranates for our project at the next meeting on the first. Our Block of the month will meet on the 12th, instead of the usual due to guild activities interfering.

Lastly, but never least, the Crazy Quilt Club meets this Saturday. The special is 10% off all buttons, Individual, carded, and bagged sets for embellishment.
