August Events

Last week I addressed the need to make something meaningful. This is a basic human need, and can be easily satisfied by working with fabric, especially fabrics that inspire you. The tactile nature of handling cloth, the color harmonies created, and the beautiful and often functional nature of the finished product all contribute to significance in a project. With project workshops and clubs that cater to multiple styles, we are sure to have something for you. If you want to know more about my personal quilt art visit my new blog, www.DianaArtQuilts.blogspot.com

Creating something you like is good for you. We can help. The schedule for August is listed below, Please sign up early to reserve your spot in class and shop for your class supplies with us. Note that there are a few days in August that we will be closed.

Our special this weekend is on Fat Quarter Fans. These coordinated bundles of seven fat quarters usually sell for $15.00, Friday and Saturday they are better than half price, at $6.00. If we don't have a set you love you can create your own set of seven and still get the sale price. I also have a half dozen really nice purses on consignment from a friend who just retired from sales of such things. Check them out for yourself or as holiday gifts. See you soon.
