Yep, you heard right, Ton of new bolts are in, and several lines are under $7.00 per yard. I found a good deal and I'm passing the savings to you. These are wonderful prints in soft colors, many by Anna Griffin. These will go fast at this price so don't miss out.
Our Crazy Quilt Club will be excited by the special for this Saturday, (their meeting day) if you buy 4 yards of lace trims, you may take the fifth for free. The fifth yard must be equal or lesser value than the others, but we have lots of styles and I know you will find just the right one. With Halloween and Christmas around the corner, this is a sale you need to check out.

We have gotten some great quilts for the Quilts of Valor Program. The Split Star Block from Thangles (http://www.thangles.com/) is very versatile and not tricky to put together. Using a design wall led one of our customers to put together this wonderful pink and blue version. - Super. We have several wonderful tops, like the red white and blue scrappy one. Some uniformity in the color allows the design to shine. I will be mailing the pieces out in early October, so if you want to contribute you still have some time. see their website http://www.qov.org/ for more details.
This week in Creativity Central, you are being given permission to fantasize - about your sewing space. (other subjects are you own business!) Anyway the question at hand is about the table and chair you sit at to sew. If you had an unlimited budget, access to top engineers, carpenters and electricians and a nice big room for it, what features would you add to your table? Would you add cutting surfaces, pressing boards, storage, cup holders? Work it out as if you really could have it built. how would your machine(s) sit on it? Do a few sketches and then someday when you really can, you'll be all set.
