Yes it is here, Halloween is this coming weekend, but there is still time to make a costume if you need to. The Two Hour "T" Tunic is great. There is a purple one in the shoppe window right now that my daughter needed when we went to Dragon Con in Atlanta. It makes a great base for many costumes from the magical and mythical to the historical. If you need instructions come in for a quick visit and I can help you lay it out on our big tables and you can sew it in about two hours. If you make one of these please forward us a photo so we can show it off. - Actually, that goes for any costume you create, or the results of any of our workshops. I can help you photograph if you bring it in to the shoppe.
Since for many, All Hallows Eve also signals the time to start making holiday gifts , this week the special is on the Tis the Season book by Mount Redoubt. This collection of seasonal wall banners and table runners has a great pumpkin, two stunning Christmas runners, and spring and summer designs as well. These are beautiful decor for you or gifts for others. This weekend only, the book can be yours for only $15.00, ( regularly 24). It is all done with fusible machine applique making them quick enough that you will want to make them all.
This week, Nancy's UFO class is moved to Thursday, and Thursday is also the day of the Purse workshop. That begins at 6:30. We are also gearing up for the handstitchers to really get into the Texas Star on Nov. 2. Happy Halloween - may your spirit be filled with imagination.
