Lemon Blueberry

A perfect summer quilt, Lemon Blueberry begins on Wednesday. The block is a variant of a traditional wheel, with a few piecing shortcuts to make it easier and faster even a confident beginner can do this. Use lots of fabrics from two contrasting color families to give it a contemporary feel. We still have room, call to reserve a spot. This one has the WOW! factor.
I have supply lists for handstitchers fall project, Art quilters August session, and the August session of Tisket a Tasket at clubsupplies-vfs.blogspot.com If you are interested in any of these groups now is a good time to step in and try it out. We make great projects and have fun doing it.
The special for our first full weekend in August is on Pre printed interfacing by Quiltsmart. These are wonderful for making quick quilts and gifts because the technique is easy. This product is used for the Sunbonnet Sue workshop coming later this month, so you might want to stock up. They make lots of other patterns too, blocks available include Hunters Star, Scrap Therapy Grids, Scottie dogs, Grandmother's Flower Garden, and even a few kits. You may take 10% off all the Quiltsmart products this Friday and Saturday. ( the Scottie Dogs may make an appearance on the next schedule - they are too cute, and can make a great BOY quilt in some fun plaids )
