Here it is, the final block!! If you have been keeping up with the program, you will now complete this, the twentieth block. At next months meeting we will prepare for and begin the hand applique. Bring freezer paper, marking pencils, fabric scissors, background fabric, colors for applique (can be scraps from the blocks) matching threads, hand needles, applique pins or basting glue, and the book. In September, we will mark the design and work on the shield, then in October we will complete the flowers and stems and put the medallion together.
